For over 15 years, I have had the pleasure of working alongside men, women, youth and persons with a disability who have put their mental health and well-bring first despite the challenges they face. I believe we all experience mental health concerns at some point in our lives which is why I strive to offer support that is personalized and flexible as we work through your concerns together. Taking the initial step to ask for help and show vulnerability can be difficult, however I believe there can be great healing and growth when we are open and honest with others. In collaboration with you, we will gain an awareness and understanding of the challenges you face and work towards healing by offering empathetic and supportive listening.

I offer an eclectic therapeutic approach and strive to build a good rapport with my clients in a comfortable and safe space. I have a passion for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Systems Theory and Motivational Interviewing. I believe people can often be understood when we consider the complexities of the environment around them. I have helped many clients work through their anxiety, depression, transitions in life, peer and family conflict, emotional regulation concerns and challenges due to their disability. I find gentle humour and having a strong therapeutic connection is critical in seeing meaningful change in your life.

I have worked with various populations in the social services sector including youth in care, women and children who have experienced abuse, women who are unhoused, persons with an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) and youth within the education system. My Undergraduate Degree in Sociology and Women’s Studies is through the University of Toronto while my Masters of Social Work was completed through the University of Windsor.
